Snow Storm Creates Winter Wonderland
Posted - November 17th, 2010 - James Gosteli
Our first heavy snowfall of the Season has finally arrived and layered the Cheadle area with an average 40cm of snow. High winds provided mildly icy highway conditions for morning commuters heading to work.
Snow Plows have not yet visited the Cheadle area as highways and more populated municipalities have priority. Aaron Storowotsky of East Cheadle Springs conveniently had a bobcat for the week, and took the liberty of plowing out much of East Cheadle Springs (including the Cheadle Hall, Mailbox area, and several driveways). Thank-you Aaron!
More snow has been forecast for our area along with a few cold nights, dipping down to -24 Deg C. You might want to plug your car in and bundle up warm.
